Something about the performers
Lorenzo Senni - the man behind Presto!? Records will be visiting us from Italy- A description of his latest release “Dunno” describes his music “...vintage experimentalism of the computer music pioneers and the new digital brutality of fat, acid glissandos and shepard tones in rave style. Using a large palette of computer synthesized sounds and a sophisticated musical awareness he creates ten tracks of beautiful artificial energies and abstract pleasure.”
Also appearing is
Ieva (Samuel Andre) a musician and award winning film soundtrack composer who also works on computer interface design. His live performances use multi layered field recordings that are improvised with creating quite mysterious imaginary aural worlds.
Naked Mozart are the Kyoto based duo of
Donald the Nut -proto nerd rocker from San Francisco’s Three Day Stubble and classical violinist
Chiko Choko. Expect the rebellious spirit of Mozart, sinister vocal acrobatics and potty humor. Unforgettable!
Miimo are an amazing Post Dub electro beat trio from Tokyo. Featuring Ska and Reggae specialist
Tatsu on Bass,
Norihide Saji on drums and
Yoshio Machida on Steel pans - which truly gives them a unique sound. Expect a high energy set that evokes the sounds of heavy Dub reggae, NY Punk, drum and Bass and Afrobeat.
ra_ka are a duo from Osaka comprised of
Toru Koda who performs on Electric Soprano Bass and Guitar and
Kanade Amano who performs on Harp and Vocals. Their music is also processed and layered creating lush ethereal soundscapes.
Sseeaann Rrooee will be DJing and perhaps will perform if there’s time...???!!!

ロレンツォ・セニ (1983年生まれ) はミラノ在住のアーティストで作曲家。ボローニャの Alma Mater Studiorum大学で音楽学を学び、エレクトロニック・オーディオの創作をしている。 Max/mspやSupercolliderやデジタル音を使い、コンピュータミュージックやサウンドスケープの潮流を作り出している。彼はアートにアルゴリズム理論（アート的目的と、生楽器やライブエレクトロニクスによる即興との相互作用を促すプログラミング）を持ち込む事を探究している。デンマークの"Hurra Day"、ミュンヘンの "SpielArt"、ボローニャの "Iceberg"、ロッテルダムの "De Internationale Keuze Festival" などなど、ヨーロッパで活躍している。また Orthographe やPathosformelの劇場会社と共同制作したり、KTL、John Wiese、EVOL、Dave Phillipsらによってコンサートを企画されている。かれは現代音楽の「新しい音」を中心にしたレーベル "Presto!?"を作り、Mattin、Carl Michael Von Hausswolff、Marcus Schmickler、John
Wiese、Lasse Marhaug、Alberto De Campo、Werner Dafeldecker、EVOL、Lawrence English、JohnHudak たちと共同制作をしてきた。今回ロレンツォ・セニは、「Dunno」のレコ発ツアーのため初来日する。
ieva (aka Samuel Andre)
フランス出身、1978年生まれの音楽家/作曲家/映画作家。
2000年からコンピュータ・インターフェイスのデザイン研究を開始し、子供の即興演奏のためのインターフェイスの開発など、コンピュータを使った表現領域にフォーカスしながら、音楽と映像に関するクリエイティブな活動を続けてきた。ソロのieva名義では詩的なマルチメディア表現や実験的な映画作品の制作を行い、2002年にthe Aquitain Film MusicCompetitionの実験映画部門にて初受賞、音楽のライブ・パフォーマンスも同年より開始する。2008年にはアメリカ・ニューヨークのAnticipate recording 、同じく米シアトルのand/OAR、フランス・ストラスブルグの la p’tite maisonなどの音楽レーベルから音源を発表、最近ではミニ・アルバムをポルトガル・リスボンのTest Tubeよりリリースした。ライブパフォーマンスでは、フィールドレコーディングの素材を用いた即興演奏によりイマジナリーな世界を展開予定。
DJ SseeaannRrooee
ショーンローは1963年イギリスのクローリー生まれ。彼はマルチメディアアーティスト、ミュージシャンとキュレーター2006年京都に移住。ロンドンでは Goldsmiths College(LondonUniversity) andatMiddlesexUniversityで美術を学ぶ。彼は広く英国、欧州、日本、で展示とパフォーマンスを行い大学、ギャリー、アートセンターでワークショップを実施した。最近は音楽やパフォーマンスを通じてパレスチナ人の窮状についての意識を高めるForGazaも日本各所で企画し、講義、討論を行っている。
Naked Mozart
Donald the Nut （Three Day Stubbleのメンバー）とクラシックバイオリニストChikoChokoによる新コラボ。「モーツアルトは反骨精神があり下ネタジョークが好きだった。そんな音楽家が苦悩したとは思えない。」とDonaldはにやりとする。そうは言ってもJunkroomでのNaked Mozartのパフォーマンスは彼のいつもの音よりもLeck mich im Arsch(K. 231 /K382c：ドイツ語で「私の臀部を舐めなさい」の意)などが期待できるのではないかと思われる。もしくはまったくモーツアルトと関係ない演奏となるか.. 乞うご期待！
miimo
スティールパンをフィーチャーした音響系ポストDUBバンド~Scape、UKダブ、ミニマルDUBともクロスオーバーしつつ独自のDUB表現を展開。メンバーは、レピッシュ、ガンガ・ズンバのtatsu(B)、音響スチールパン奏者の町田良夫、DeDeMouseサポートの佐治宣英(Dr)の3人。 Jazz～DUB～エレクトロニカ～PostRock～ラテンを縦横無尽に飛び回る音のアナーキスト3人組。
