Andrea Valvini on tour from Switzerland, performs Percussive minimal synth sounds - S.C.F (Andy Couzens and Michael J. Migliacci) multimedia act that explores the interface between electronic sounds and Video - Yoko Shimomura (vocals), Akiko Igaki (violin) and Azumi Miyata (contrabass) provide a musical backdrop to Junichi Inoue’s projected dream texts.
- Llama labo are a Kansai based duo who mix Didigeridoo playing with electronics and beats. Misuzu is a Butoh influenced solo dancer,Day Good Explorer (Stephen Munoz and Jack Glacken) Synthesize samples, creating natural and unnatural sounds, all intertwined with live instrumentation and sparse vocals - Eddie135 is an "accousmatic" duet from Paris who use a variety of effects, creating intense and detailed soundscapes.
DJ AFRIphoniCAAAA (Sseeaann Rrooee) plays records before, between and after.

"For Gaza" Fund Raising Event at Urbanguild on 22nd May!!!

The first event "FOR GAZA Vol 1" will take place at Urbanguild on the 22nd May 2009

Doors Open 6.30pm Starts 7.00pm.
The event finishes at 1.00am
We are honoured to have Special Guest Speaker Prof Mari Oka (from Kyoto University) who is a passionate speaker and campaigner for the Palestinian cause. There will also be a screening of a short documentary film by Toshikuni Doi about the situation in Palestine, and a representative from JVC will also talk about the work they do in Palestine. Denki Gypsy Special who are a Klezmer/Balkan music supergroup featuring members of Freylekh Jamboree and ロマチカ・オーケスター Hide and Jet from Das Kapital Punishmentwill be playing electro-wave anthems for the paranoid generation. Catch them soon before they self-destruct.
Kazuya Hagihara Activist and Guitarist performs Folk and Protest Songs backed by Drums and Bass for this event.Hideyovic Uesugi(Geronimo Label/Falsos Gitanos) will mix Rock'n'Roll and Politics with Geronimo Label and will play some Gypsy music with Falsos Gitanos. Mir from Switzerland, have joined the event as part of their tour of Japan, so we are lucky to experience their powerful Cosmic Space-rock! Yasuo Fukurozaka is a Butoh inspired dancer, whose work will shock and surprise you! Dan Marlin is a poet and peace activist from the United States.DJ AFRIphoniCAAAA will plays his usual eclectic mix between the performances and at the end of the event.

次のJunkroomイベントJunkroon Vol9は4月10日（金）に行います。
場所は京都、三条木屋町のUrBANGUILD。
出演はヴォーカルとヴァイオリン、電子楽器を操るPROBLEMATICA、 同時に複数の楽器を実験的に演奏するSHINJI KAMEDA、陶製の容器に満たした水を使いhypnoticな音楽を演奏するパリ在住のTOMOKO SAUVAGEと手製の楽器 "slitars"を奏でるCHARLES-ERIC BILLARD も再度の出演を引き受けてくれました。トランペットプレイヤーの CHRISTOPHER FRYMAN はアンビエントサウンドで聴衆を別世界へいざないます。ほかにも、 三味線を打楽器のように使ったフォーク音楽を提供するBACCO、サイケなマカ不思議音楽で頭をぐるぐるにするPSYCHEDELIC DESERT with SHAGS CHAMBERLAIN、そして BUM CREEKはシアターロックなPerformance Artを披露します。
パフォーマンスの合間にはいつものようにDJ AFRIphoniCAAAAA (Sseeaann Rrooee) のeclectic mix な音楽をお楽しみください。

Very Easy to find-Here are some basic directions
From Sanjo Dori go down Kiyamachi Dori
(This is the narrow street running alongside Takase stream
Urbanguild is on the east side (left hand side as you walk down from Sanjo) approximately 150 metres.Its on the 3rd floor of New Kyoto Building- access by elevator or stairs.
